Legendary singer Etta James passed away Friday.
Her longtime friend and manager says James died at a hospital in Riverside, California.
James had been in and out of the hospital recently, she had been diagnosed with leukemia.
Her voice lit up such classics as "At Last" and "Something’s Got a Hold on Me."
Etta James was 73.
