Event held for special needs children

Some of Hawaii’s special needs children participated in an event that was extra cool.

It’s an interactive computer camp that introduces technology to disabled children.

Participants learn website development, videography, photography and how to write and send an email.

"We do it because number one often times kids with disabilities get pushed aside because kids without disabilities will tend to grab things first," Barbara Fischlowitz-Leong, ATRC president and ceo.

Camp Cool is a free event. There will be another one next Saturday.
