Fundraising reports in for U.S. House and Senate campaigns

More fundraising numbers are in for the races for U.S. House and Senate.

Democrat Colleen Hanabusa raised more than Republican contender Charles Djou in the last quarter, bringing her election-cycle amount raised so far above a half million dollars.

They have a similar amount of cash on hand — both above three hundred thousand dollars.

In the senate race for Dan Akaka’s seat, democrat Ed Case raised just over one hundred thousand dollars in the last quarter.

His opponent Mazie Hirono previously reported more than 600,000 dollars raised.

Republican Linda Lingle took in nearly $1.8 million.
