City crews are warning the dozen people who are part of "Occupy Honolulu" that they have 24 hours to move their belongings off the sidewalks.
The group has been camping on the sidewalk at Thomas Square for months. A recently enacted law prevents people from leaving their belongings on sidewalks. City crews issue 24 hour warnings to those in violation. If their property is not removed, it is collected and taken to a city storage facility, where they have 30 days to claim their property.
The city has been enforcing the law in stages, citing people in Mililani, Moiliili Old Stadium Park, and in Iwilei.
