A 22 year-old Kaneohe Marine is scheduled to appear in Honolulu District Court Friday.
Brandon Calhoun was charged with second-degree attempted murder. He’s being held on a $200,000 bail.
Honolulu police say early Wednesday morning, Calhoun struck a 48 year-old man multiple times in the head and face in Waikiki.
The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
