Kardiac Kids sing for heart disease, raise money for camp

A benefit concert was held tonight to help kids who suffer from heart disease go to summer camp.

It was put together by a Punahou school senior who also suffers from heart disease.

"I guess that was important to me because I know how much camp has meant to a lot of the kids," said Cara Mukai.

"It’s the one place where they feel completely normal," she said.

Kids get to attend the camp for free.

A generous donor came up with half the cost and the money raised tonight will help pay for the rest.
