Honolulu police are investigating a murder-suicide case in Hawaii Kai.
According to police, it happened at a home on Anakua Street just before 11 a.m. Sunday.
Police say an 81-year-old man fatally shot his 79-year-old wife before shooting himself.
The woman had been suffering from a long-term illness, police say.
