Former Governor Ben Cayetano took the next step in his campaign for Honolulu mayor by opening his campaign headquarters off Nimitz in the airport industrial area.
"(If) we win this race, it will be a game changer in Hawaiian politics," Cayetano said.
Cayetano served as Hawaii’s governor from 1994 through 2002.
He’s running against former acting Mayor Kirk Caldwell, and current Honolulu Mayor Peter Carlisle.
