An investigation is underway into the discovery of skeletal remains off Nimitz highway.
The remains were discovered yesterday morning by a homeless person, during a semi-annual sweep of the area.
There are several homeless encampments there, and the state clears them out periodically.
Police say there are no obvious signs of foul play.
The body has not been identified.
