The Bishop Museum is laying off about 8 percent of its workforce as part of a restructuring plan.
Already 13 people were let go last week on Wednesday.
The organization says it is in response to the loss of more than 2 million dollars in federal funding and also the implementation of a new strategic plan to more effectively serve the community.
There will be no changes to public hours, educational programs or exhibits.
However, starting march 1st, access to the library and archives will be by appointment only.
