The Hawaii State Public Library System has partnered with the Hawaii State Capitol to provide a webcast of legislative hearings, meetings, and sessions at public libraries statewide. Residents can now see how the legislature conducts business via streaming video.
Libraries have designated "Legislative Webcast" computers where patrons can access the legislature’s proceedings. Computers have a one-hearing time limit and are muted so patrons must provide their own headphones.
Patrons are not required to have a library card in order to view the webcasts.
