The State Department of Health is advising the public to stay out of the waters of Keehi Lagoon Park to and including the boat ramp areas of Sand Island State park after a wastewater discharge.
The discharge happened at the drawbridge section of Sand Island Access Road.
DOH officials say the spill is ongoing and repair work is underway.
Signs will be posted and the public is advised to remain out of the areas until this warning has been removed.
