Miss America stopped in Hawaii over the weekend, as part of her tour of Children’s hospitals across the nation.
Miss America 2012 Laura Kaeppeler visited Kapiolani Medical Center to talk about her work as hospitals ambassador for the Children’s Miracle Network.
One of my favorite jobs about being Miss America is coming and hanging out with kids like you so I hope we have a lot of fun today I’m looking forward to learning how to make the lei and also I hear I will learn how to hula from one of my good friends miss hawaii," says Miss America 2012 Laura Kaeppeler.
Miss Hawaii Lauren Cheape joined Miss America, who shared photos and autographs with the children.
Keappeler has dedicated her reign as Miss America to raising funds and awareness for the children’s charity.
