The Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and its sister property the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel on the Big Island of Hawaii have been named to Travel + Leisure magazine’s “Top 500 Hotels Worldwide” 2012 rankings.
Of the 16 hotels from Hawaii that made the list, Hapuna ranked 6th and Mauna Kea 7th.
On the Big Island they ranked 2nd and 3rd behind the Four Seasons Hualalai, which was #1 in the state.
