Zoo changing fee policy for private and pubilc schools

The Honolulu Zoo has changed its policy of charging private school students more for field trips.

Last year the zoo started charging private school students $4, while charging public school students $2.

Based on public feedback, the zoo has decided to change that policy, and will now charge all schools the same amount.

Students in pre kindergarten to the sixth grade will pay $2, while students in grades 7 through 12 will pay $4. Adult chaperones will pay $8.
