The Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation named Daniel Grabauskas as their pick for executive director, this after a month long search.
As KHON2 exclusively reported this week, the board’s original recruitment plan did not intend to publicly name the candidates prior to when he was slated to be offered and confirmed for the job.
Grabauskas’ proposed three year contract includes an annual base salary of $245,000, a $36,000 a year housing allowance, and a transportation allowance of $6,000 a year.
The proposal also includes a $35,000 annual performance based bonus.
