A teenager who dances with a local hula halau is in the top 25 on American Idol.
17-year-old Deandre Brackensick made it to the semi-finals with his amazing falsetto voice.
Up next it’s America’s turn to vote and Deandre says it will be easier to perform for a studio audience rather than the judges.
"Crowds are so much easier to perform in front of instead of three people staring you down. Like you can get a reaction like if its good or not even you just get a reaction you just get a feel for a crowd," he says.
Deandre, who also goes by name Kamele, dances for Halau Ka Liko Pua O Kalaniakea.
