Ben and Jerry’s apologizes for offensive Jeremy Lin ice cream

Ben and Jerry’s came out with a new flavor called "Taste the Lin-Sanity," but the company is now apologizing for putting fortune cookies in it.

The product was sold at the company’s Harvard Square store in honor of basketball sensation Jeremy Lin, a Harvard graduate.

The company is offering a heartfelt apology to anyone who was offended.

It said it wanted to honor his accomplishments and his quick rise in the NBA.

The fortune cookies have since been replaced with waffle-cone pieces.
