Heavy rains flooded a home on Molokai early Thursday morning.
According to Maui County fire officials, crews responded to 661 Kamehameha V Highway on the east end of Molokai just after midnight after residents called to report that their home was flooded.
The couple woke up to find water almost to their knees.
Firefighters helped the couple secure their belongings.
Other properties were also flooded. Thos homes are built off the ground.
