The Department of Land and Natural Resources is closing ‘Iao Valley State Park and Polipoli Spring State Park today due to heavy rains, and rising water in ‘Iao Stream.
Continued rain is forecast for most of the day.
If the weather subsides by tomorrow, and the ‘Iao Stream is back to normal, the Maui Division of State Parks will reopen the parks.
