HTA: Pro Bowl brought in $25.3 million to Hawaii

The Hawaii Tourism Authority says the 2012 Pro Bowl pumped $25.3 million into our state’s economy.
More than 48,000 people attended the game at Aloha Stadium nearly 19,000 of them were visitors and just over 15,000 say they came to Hawaii specifically for the game.
In addition, more than 12.5 million viewers watched at least part of the game on TV.
The future of the Pro Bowl next year is undecided, but Hawaii officials hope to get the NFL to commit to returning.
