KZOO Radio rememebers Japan’s tsunami and earthquake victims

Here in Hawaii, Japanese radio station KZOO dedicated the day to those affected by the disasters.

The station organized a full schedule of events including messages from the Governor, Honolulu Mayor and a performance by 10-year-old ukulele phenomenon and YouTube sensation Aidan James.

"It’s very meaningful being here being able to connect closer to the community, and to be able to properly pay our respects to the people of Japan and as well as to show them our support," said Robyn Furuya, KZOO radio general manager.

KZOO will be connecting live with Japan, sharing local stories of people directly impacted by the earthquake and tsunami or who helped with the support efforts.
