Big Island Police closed Hwy 190 at Waikoloa Rd. junction and at Kaiminani Road.
Police say around 11:25 Wednesday morning they responded to a two car crash involving a Kawasaki motorcycle.
They say they found one car with damage to the driver’s side tail light, and the motorcycle was found on it’s side with extensive damage throughout.
The motorcyclist died.
They advise motorists to use Hwy 19 while they investigate.
