Editorial: Cracking down on firework scofflaws

As they do every year, eyes will once again gaze toward the heavens Friday night, as Fourth of July pyrotechnics light up the sky at multiple locations across the isles. But residents should be aware of new, stringent regulations and broader enforcement options against illegal fireworks rightly approved by the Legislature and just signed into law by Gov. Josh Green.
