Luxury restaurant, owner decry $3.15M abuse verdict

A high-end Japanese restaurant and its owner, Robert Kazutomo Hori, said in a statement from their attorneys Wednesday that they are disappointed in an Oahu Circuit Court jury verdict awarding $3.15 million to a former sous chef who testified at trial of the physical and emotional abuse inflicted by the restaurant’s executive chef.
