Waianae lunch turns into fast exit as diners flee from Maili wildfire

Jan Koehler and Kathy Foti were having lunch at the The Beach House by 604 restaurant near Pokai Bay in Waianae when they saw smoke coming up over the hillside at about 3 p.m. Sunday, and initially thought it was someone burning rubbish.
