Governor Neil Abercrombie announced the release of $1,150,000 in educational special funds for the design, construction and works of art for electrical upgrades at Pearl Ridge Elementary School, to support the use of technology.
Design of project is slated to start in July 2012 with an estimated completion date of January 2013.
Construction is set to start in June 2013 and finish in February 2014.
The upgrades will include various electrical system improvements and will support the increasing use of technology at the school.
