A large part of Makakilo Valley is without power tonight after something happened at the Makakilo power substation Sunday night.
The outage occurred at 7:35 p.m.
Troubleshooters are at the scene now trying to restore power.
Nearby residents reported flashing blue lights, followed by power outages in the upper and lower parts of the valley.
There is no estimate of when the power will come back on at this time.
