Volcano woman charged with negligent homicide from hitting bicyclist

Big Island police have charged a 40-year-old Volcano woman who was arrested after a hit-and-run vehicle-bicycle crash in Hilo on April 11.

Alison E. Taylor was charged April 13 with negligent homicide, accident involving death or serious injury, failure to provide information or render aid, driving with a suspended license and inattention to driving.

Her bail was set at $8,500.
