The Dalai Lama has arrived in Hawaii. He was greeted at the Kahala Hotel just after 5 p.m. Friday.
Saturday the Tibetan spiritual leader is expected to visit Native Hawaiian cultural sites and talk to students at UH Manoa.
Sunday he’ll have a panel discussion with Native Hawaiian leaders and speak to the public.
He’s expected to visit a public school on Monday.
It’s the Dalai Lama’s fourth visit to the islands and his first since 2008, when he visited Maui.
