Editorial: Guard U.S. trust for Native Hawaiians

On the day Donald Trump was inaugurated as president for his second term in office, his administration initiated a turn-around in the federal approach to relations with Native Hawaiians, adopting a particularly hostile position toward any aid or policy aimed at advancing “equity” or “justice,” “diversity” or “inclusion.”
