Prepare to bundle up for chilly, wet weather

It’s too late for a white Christmas but the National Weather Service is forecasting the possibility of 6 inches or more of snow for the summits of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa and potentially heavy rainfall for much of the rest of the state from a “Kona low” weather system.
