The Dalai Lama spent his third day on Oahu speaking to people at the Stan Sheriff Center.
He spoke to the public Sunday about advancing peace through the power of aloha.
"The word aloha is very easy to say, but implementing the meaning of aloha not easy," His Holiness said.
The Dalai Lama also had a panel discussion with Native Hawaiian leaders.
Monday he’s expected to visit a public school before leaving the islands.
