The deadline to submit your federal tax return is Tuesday.
Twenty eight post offices across the state will offer late collection for last-minute tax filers. Items dropped into specially marked collection boxes by midnight will receive an April 17 postmark.
For the first time there will also be an express line at the main post office at Honolulu Airport. It will be open from noon until 8 p.m.
Taxpayers have until April 17 to file because the usual deadline, the 15th fell on a Sunday and Monday is a holiday in the District of Columbia.
