After some delay because of south swells, the Waikiki Sand Project is back on track.
Truck hauling operations resumed on Monday and are scheduled to continue through the week. The sand is being trucked down the beach to widen the shore.
On Tuesday, the crane barge will be re-positioned, and sand will be pumped from offshore and placed on shore to dry.
The project is expected to continue for a couple more weeks.
