Letter: Don’t impose religion of any ilk on Americans

In response to the letter, “Christian beliefs form foundation of America,” nowhere did our founding fathers specifically identify a religion or God from which our laws, Constitution and institutions are to be structured (Star-Advertiser, July 10). They strategically avoided this after the scourge of religious conflict in Europe. We as Americans can worship whomever, or whatever, we wish, or worship no entity at all.
