Letter: Important to prepare for disaster in multiple ways

In a recent letter, a reader lamented being unable to access the news (“Outage of utilities also bring news blackout,” Star-Advertiser, Aug. 21). The reader apparently had only Spectrum as their prime source of media information and accessibility. Bad idea.
