It’s going to cost travelers more to leave their cars overnight at the state’s airports.
Starting Sunday, May 1, daily parking rates at Honolulu International Airport will go up by $2 from $13 dollars to $15.
At neighbor island airports, it’ll go up by $1 from $9 to $10.
The state says the rate increase will help offset costs of airport improvements.
The last parking rate hike was in 2009.
