Waialua High School takes first in robotics championship

The best robotics teams battled it out in Missouri for three days and in the end a Hawaii school came out on top.

Waialua High and Intermediate received the championship’s Chairman’s Award.

It’s the program’s most prestigious honor.

Five other Hawaii high schools were also recognized for their work.

That’s McKinley, Waianae, Waiakea, Kealakehe and Sacred Hearts Academy.
