An 18-year-old was arrested Saturday night after allegedly taking a 39-year-old man’s car from a party in Waianae.
It happened around 6:45 p.m. Police say the victim says he left the keys in his car. The suspect took his car without permission.
Police say the teen allegedly was intoxicated and collided into a stone wall. A piece of the wall broke off and hit a nearby pedestrian who suffered minor injuries in the leg. Police say the suspect did not have a license at the time. He remains in police custody.
