The wild weather produced a double waterspout off Kewalo Basin on Oahu Monday evening.
The spout was seen miles away and disappeared after a few minutes.
Traffic signal lights and homes on Oahu are currently affected by a power outage.
The Honolulu Police Department is asking all motorists to approach intersections with caution. It is not known when power will be restored.
According to the HPD website, traffic signal lights are reported out in the University area, Dillingham, windward Oahu and Kapolei.
