Cayetano makes bid for mayor official

Former Hawaii Governor Ben Cayetano made his bid for Honolulu mayor official Friday morning.
Cayetano filed nomination papers at City Hall.
Once outside, he turned his attention to Honolulu’s $5.3 billion rail project, which Cayetano says is about profits and greed.

"We’re outgunned in terms of money for advertising, there’s no way we’re gonna match them.  We’ll probably be outspent 20 to 1, but we got a big advantage and that advantage is that we have the facts and the truth on our side,"  Cayetano says.

Cayetano faces current Mayor Peter Carlisle and former Mayor Kirk Caldwell in the August primary.
