Over on Maui, a tourist almost drowned Sunday.
Officials say the 45-year old woman had been snorkeling in front of the Sheraton Maui Resort in Kaanapali.
Around 1:30 p.m., other snorklers found her unresponsive and brought her to shore. Hotel employees performed CPR until paramedics arrived.
The woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
