The Board of Water supply says the break was reported near 92-624 Makakilo Drive between Aoloko and Anipeahi Streets on Wednesday morning around 4:40 a.m.
Right lane going south bound on Makakilo Drive is currently closed.
It is a eight-inch main and six homes and businesses were affected. A water wagon is offfering assistance and repair work is scheduled to continue until Wednesday afternoon.
