Honolulu Fire crews were called back out to the scene of a brush fire off Kolowaka Drive in Ewa.
It started at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night and burned five acres. Early Wednesday morning the fire began to smolder and HFD crews were called to assist with extinguishing the blaze again.
Tuesday night Fort Weaver Road was closed in the area while fire crews worked. It has since been reopened.
No structures were in damaged and no injuries were reported.
The fire’s cause is under investigation.
