An 18-year veteran of the Maui police department was arrested for sex assault.
Sergeant Paul Bailey was booked for third degree sex assault after claims made by a 15-year-old girl.
Bailey was released pending investigation.
He’s on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
