Fire crews are on the scene of a large brushfire in Olowalu, Maui.
The fire broke out Wednesday evening in the hills above the Olowalu General Store.
Officials say several fire companies are on the scene battling the blaze, that has prompted nearby residents to evacuate their homes.
Roads near Olowalu are still open as of 10:45 p.m.
