The cost of shipping goods to and from Hawaii is about to drop as Matson lowers its fuel surcharge.
Matson says it will decrease the surcharge by 3.5 percent starting Sunday, due to a decrease in bunker fuel prices.
Matson says the savings could range from $80 to $140 per container.
In February Matson raised the fuel surcharge by 5 percent.
