Lawyers from the Young Lawyers Division and the Hawaii State Bar Association volunteered all week for our Action Line Law Week.
They’ve been taking calls on different issues from bankruptcy to foreclosure to employment law and wrongful termination.
On Friday, people could call in about landlord tenant laws in Hawaii.
"Here in Hawaii, I recognize we have a lot of rental situations and it’s kind of a lot of people are desperate to find places to live but that doesn’t mean they should subject themselves to really unfair conditions," said attorney Ryan Hew.
The Hawaii State Bar Association will host several free legal clinics around the state on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
