The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a statewide high wind advisory, which is in effect until 6 p.m. Monday.
A wind advisory means that winds of at least 30 mph with gusts over 50 mph are expected.
Motorists should use extra caution.
Drivers of large vehicles such as delivery trucks, container trucks and buses should use caution when traveling on elevated freeways and overpasses.
